| Did you found REZUREX? This is how it came to be: Me and my former singer, Marian Anderson, from my first punkrock band called, THE INSAINTS, decided to start a psychobilly band. That band was called, THE THRILLKILLERS. The band formed in 2001. We did our very first show in September of 2001 with DEEP EYNDE (I played 2 times that night). Not only it was our first show, but it was also our last. Marian died a month later. DEEP EYNDE was on a west coast tour to Seattle, WA and when we returned, she was gone. That was a hard time for me. My double bass player, Rock''n Rick from THE HELLBILLYS ask if i would like to still play psychobilly. We needed a singer but could not replace Marian. That''s when I decided to sing and we changed the name to LOBO NEGRO. LOBO NEGRO had to change the name of the band because another band had already legally owned the name. Now REZUREX is recognized in the psychobilly scene all over the world. |
