Abby Normal

ABBY NORMAL #North Carolina -USA#

Genre: Horrorpunk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Abby Normal is a musician from North Carolina. He has been performing since 1992, and is best known for his work with Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 and The Graveyard Boulevard, though he has successfully performed as both a solo artist, and with other bands.

In 1992, Normal became one of the founding members of Maniac Spider Trash, alongside Wednesday 13, Sicko Zero and Michael Patrick. The band existed until 1996, when they disbanded to allow the formation of Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 (FDQ). He was with FDQ until 2001.

In 2001, when FDQ disbanded, Normal took some time to record a solo effort, entitled "Midnight Creature Feature Picture Show".

In 2003, alongside other ex-FDQ members Seaweed and Sicko Zero, Normal formed The Graveyard Boulevard.

Normal's name, in light of his association with a Frankenstein-named band, evokes the 1974 film Young Frankenstein, where the character sent to steal a particular brain from an organ bank settles for stealing one labeled "ABNORMAL - Do not use", and diffidently recalls it as being that of "Abby someone".

His album "Midnight Creature Feature Picture Show" evokes the 1975 Frankenstein-evoking film The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its opening song, "Late Night Science Fiction Double Feature Picture Show".

Misfits Super

Finally i made the best entry of Misfits with complete official discograpgy and more

MISFITS #Lodi, New Jersey -USA#

Genre: Horrorpunk

user posted image

Misfits are a horror punk band formed in 1977 and led by singer and songwriter Glenn Danzig (born Glenn Anzalone) and later, bassist Jerry Only (born Gerald Caiafa). They were highly influential on the genres of heavy metal, punk and rock music in general. Though they ceased recording and performing in 1983, a new version of the band (led by Only and without founder and former frontman Danzig) began operations in 1995 (see below).

The early Misfits were often quite melodic, featuring Danzig's versatile singing, which had a style rooted in Italian tenors such as Mario Lanza and in 1950s doo-wop. Musically, the band has also displayed some Rockabilly influences (but not as much as Psychobilly bands). Early Misfits songs tended to have catchy, sing-along choruses, initially backed by Danzig's distorted keyboard accompaniments (circa 1977), and later by willfully crude guitar-rock. The band began as a largely untrained ensemble. After several lineup changes and increasing international acclaim, Danzig disbanded the original Misfits in 1983.

The band often wore corpse paint when performing, and bassist Jerry Only reputedly invented a hairstyle called the devilock, with the bangs coming to a point in front of the nose or chin, a style still worn by fans (A.K.A. Fiends) today and contributed to the foundation of Horror Punk.

When the band originally reformed, it featured Michale Graves on vocals, Jerry Only on bass, Dr. Chud (Cannibalistic Human Underground Drummer) on drums, and Jerry's brother Doyle on guitar. Doyle is currently estranged from the group and is working with a new group named Gorgeous Frankenstein, which formed in 2005. Doyle recently reunited with Glenn Danzig's band Danzig to perform special sets of Misfits songs on Danzig's Blackest of the Black 2005 and 2006 tour.

A third, "touring" incarnation of the band, without original singer Danzig, is presently led by the only other "constant" original member, bassist Jerry Only. Members of the touring group have included Marky Ramone (of the Ramones), and both drummer ROBO (who was a member of the original band), and guitarist Dez Cadena of Black Flag fame.

Maniac Spider Trash

La info en español esta sacada del foro Wednesday 1 3 , dedicado a Wednesday 13 y sus bandas, aunque supongo que estos a su vez lo han sacado de la Wikipedia

MANIAC SPIDER TRASH #North Caroline -USA#

Genre: Horror-Metal-Glam

http://www.thegraveyardboulevard.net/images/mstlogo.jpg

"Maniac Spider Trash" was created around 1993. Although there were occasional line-up changes, the core members were Wednesday 13, Abby Normal, Sicko Zero and Michael Patrick (R.I.P.). In 1994, MST entered the studio for the first time and released a 6-song cassette called, "Dumpster Mummies". The band gained a large fan-base and quickly began to pack local clubs. Even in those early days, the shows were filled with twisted elements and the music was dark and hard hitting.

In 1995, Maniac Spider Trash entered the studio again to record a full length CD called, "Murder Happy Fairytales". Although the CD was packed full of great songs, "Murder Happy Fairytales" was an ill-fated venture that would never see an official release. Shortly after it's recording, Maniac Spider Trash disbanded when Wednesday 13 and Sicko Zero formed "The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13".

The Crimson Ghosts

THE CRIMSON GHOSTS #Cologne, NRW - Germany#

Genre: Horrorpunk / Brutal Horrorpunk

"HORRORPUNK THAT RIPS YOUR BRAINS OUT"

No se puede mostrar la imagen “http://www.crimson-ghosts.de/buttons/big/history.gif” porque contiene errores.

Back at the end of the seventies, when the Zodiac-murderer felt he was becoming too weak to go on with his deeds, he decided to re-animate four already executed serialkillers by black magic, to carry his name through times and collect slaves for his life in the realm of the dead. He called them "The Crimson Ghosts" and in 2001 these undead creatures gathered to spread sonic terror and bring horror in the name of their father to the world of the living.

Vlad (Vokillz) – the madman who believed, fresh human blood would bring immortality, so he drank up some virgins.
Reverend (Helldrums) – the weird priest who apostatized of christian believe and killed many sinners instead of shrive them.
Monstrosity (Subsonics) – Police censored every detail of his killings, so that one must come to the conclusion, that he was very "playful" with his victims.
Jackal (6 String Violence) – Driven by paranoid delusions he literally shredded his victims with the blades he wears on his hand.
Bad enough to the world, those four demons are amongst us, now everything seems like there is a fifth crimson ghost who makes his bloody path to join his brothers in gore.

To be continued.....................
