Imelda has shared the stage with Alison Moyet, Dionne Warwick, Bryan Ferry, Anastasia, The Supremes, Sister Sledge, Scissor Sisters, Matt Bianco, Elvis Costello, and Elton John.

Imelda is currently working on a new CD of original material with her talented new band of renowned musicians; Dean Beresford on Drums, Al Gare on Bass, and Danny McCormack on Piano, Darrel Higham on guitar, and Dave Priseman on trumpet. This total Bop-a-Billy blend of tradtastic Hepcats and kitten will be showcasing their new material at a major venue later this year.

In 2004 Jeroen contacted Mars and Marc if we would like to record some Elvis songs with him. Jeroen picked out 21 songs Elvis has sung and we agreed on 14 songs to record. After 3 rehearsals we agreed on the way we wanted to record the songs. In 2005 and 2006 we did all the recordings.

He has found 2 musicians to make his wish come true: Marcel van den Berg on bass and Marc Burger on drums.
13 Songs were recorded in 2005 and 2006 and the CD is released by Count Orlok on January 8th 2007

La banda comienza cuando Luis y Hector, influenciados por bandas de la escena Rockabilly y Psychobilly, deciden hacer musica solo con bajo y bateria, de ahi salen las primeras maquetas hasta que llega Jaime en la guitarra con sus influencias rocknrolleras y tintes a Dead Kennedys. De ahi siguen componiendo y registrando todas las ideas que iban apareciendo ensayo tras ensayo, en el intertanto buscando un vocalista acorde al estilo. Es asi cuando llega Pollito Karnate a cubrir la posicion de vocalista, consiguiendo asi una formacion definitiva de la banda. De ahi ensayo y tocatas , hasta que Luis adquiere su Contrabajo... pero solo se podia ensayar acustico, ya que la capsula ideal para amplificar el contrabajo no estaba ni en Stgo, menos en la V region. Fue asi que Luis la pudo conseguir diretamente de USA, y de ahi este no ha parado con los slap. Luego Jaime cambia su guitarra, a una con un sonido mas acorde al estilo..quedando la banda potencialmente bien implementada.

Es asi como se ha estado ensayo tras ensayo, adaptando el contrabajo a los temas ya existentes, y consiguiendo un sonido mas menos definido como PsychoRocknroll.

Here we go again. This is the issue No. 5 of the PSYCHOMANIA magazine fully packed with nice stuff coming out one month before Christmas. This time technology and artists have not let us down and hence we are well in time. Well, almost … The printing shop has played a bad joke on us binding the pages in wrong order. To fix everything we spent our last days and nights with bending up staples and sorting pages. Despite this extra work we had been able to concentrate upon the work of the magazine a lot better this time which has led to a rise of pages up to 80 now – that means you have 30 more pages to read. As regards content everything is still about Psychobilly, Punkabilly and Rockabilly. Once again the CD is richly filled and well mixed with known and less known Combos from the aforesaid sector. Nothing changes in the price of course … which means our very good price stays at 6.66 €. The established and well-known record shops, scene shops and mail order of your trust provide a Germany-wide distribution again. We won’t give out our small magazine to railway station kiosks and gigantic supermarkets – we think the magazine is too precious to do that. The PSYCHOMANIA is also available in Europe, America and Japan . Regarding these matters everything remains unaffected for the moment.
Nevertheless, the next issue will have a decisive rearrangement. The magazine No. 6 to be released in April, 2009, will be the first bilingual issue in German and English language. We will tell you more about it during the next weeks.
This time we hope we were able to offer you an extensive and interesting magazine again and wish you a lot of enjoyment with the PSYCHOMANIA # 5.

Hello Again! After the release of the successful first issue of the PSYCHOMANIA MAGAZIN, we wanna take the chance to let you know about the plans for our forthcoming 2nd issue, which is going to be released in December`06!

First of all we’re proud to let you know that we’re able (according to the great feedback) to stock up our limited edition of the Magazine up to 2000 Copies. The Magazine will be available in whole Europe and America & Japan too.
