The_Rosedales_-_Raise_Your_Spirits_-2003.rar
The official release of The Rosedales full-length album finally arrived at the end of October 2003. The CD release party was held just before Halloween with special guest Dr. Chud from The Misfits. "Raise Your Spirits" includes ten original Rosedales songs including a remixed version of the hit song "Frozen Ghost" from The Onlys Gravest Hits. "Frozen Ghost" has been heard on radio stations in Ft. Collins-CO, Kenosha-WI, St. Louis-MO and on Q101's Local Music Showcase in Chicago.
The Rosedales travel to gigs in a Hot-Rod 1965 Cadillac Hearse. Known all across the Midwest as "The Ride of Frankenstein", this hot-rod hearse has been spotted at popular live music venues, record stores and cemeteries. With orange flames on the hood and a creepy coffin in the back, curious kids wonder if The Rosedales are a rock band or a group of evil super villains.

Los Rosedales fueron conocidos en un principio como The Onlys desde el lanzamiento de su primera grabación "Gravest Hits" el Viernes 13 de Octubre de 2000. Despues de varios bolos en Chicago, Colorad y Wisconsin, The Onlys se crea una cierta reputación en la escena del Horrorpunk
Ellos eligieron el poco corriente nombre de The onlys como un tributo a Jerry Only de Misfits, pero tuvieron que cambiarse el nombre debido a que ya había otra banda en Austin, Texas cón el nombre registrado y les amenazaron con denunciarlos. Es en 2002 cuando The Onlys pasan a llamarse Rosedales,toman el nombre de un parque local de Chicago que se rumora que es frecuentado por cuatro fantasmas. El nuevo nombre se basa en la leyenda de Rosedale Park en Chicago. La historia va más o menos así... Primero tenemos 2 hermanos, uno muere en Alemania, y la otra en Chicago, quemada como bruja. Mataron a nuestra víctima siguiente en Gettysburg (disparo en la cara) en 1863, y el cuarto murió en un accidente de la "Hot-Rod" en el verano de 1965.
