El grupo surgió hace 5 años cuando Jorge(guitarra/voz)grabó una maqueta en un 4 pistas con 6 temas bajo el nombre de Psycho Loosers. A pesar del nombre, los temas son en castellano y están grabados con secuencias. Poco después, se unen Pablo(batería) e Isi(bajo) pero este ultimo abandona el grupo en busca del sueño ibizenco tras grabar su segunda maketa "No quiero ser tu amigo"(2003) y tocar varios conciertos en Salamanca y uno en Madrid. Pasa por el grupo el bajista del también salmantino grupo AFTERBITES. Y finalmente se incorpora la voz femenina de los coros de la 2ª maqueta: la pizpireta y peligrosa Paty critter, como bajista y coros, quedando así la formación definitiva. PSYCHO LOOSERS tocan una suerte de punk rock con influencias que van desde Siniestro total, RAMONES, Blink 182, Green day, pasando por Nerf Herder y otros grupos de la escuela lookout. Dentro del panorama estatal, pueden sonar ligeramente como otros grupos punk pop como Airbag,etc... La temática de sus letras varía entre frustración teenager, las pelis de terror, asesinos en serie y un montón de personajes marginados que buscan venganza, muchas veces ubicados estos temas en los parajes de los institutos y todo tipo de situaciones adolescentes.

Este grupo salmantino fue creado alrededor del año 2000. En cuanto a su estilo parece que se mueven sin una dirección fija, haciendo una mezcla entre punk y un power-pop, definiéndose a si mismos como un punk pijo o punk-rock tarareable.
Sus letras hablan de todo: parecidas a películas de terror, niños rottweiler, de amor... con algún que otro toque psicopático.
En directo son bastante buenos, la gente se lo pasa muy bien en sus conciertos coreando las canciones... así que si tenéis ocasión de ir a algún directo de la banda os aconsejo que no dejéis pasar la oportunidad.
