Graveyard Shift formed in the summer of 2001 in a basement in the suburbs of Seattle, WA initially to re-kindle the ashes of a dying scene left by bands such as Los Gatos Locos, and The Spectres.They began writing dark rock and roll and tales of horror. Little did they know the path it would lead them. Nicky Nightmare (drums), Ben Grimm (bass), and Murder Mike (Vocals), who were friends from previous bands, began searching for a unique guitar sound. They found none other than guitarist Chainsaw Chad, whose eerie licks would bring their sound to a whole darker level. Graveyard Shift left Seattle for a series of tours starting out with the first annual West Coast Wreckers Ball at the Galaxy Theater in Orange County and immediately gained the respect of their peers in the throbbing vein of the North American Psychobilly scene in Los Angeles, CA. Playing shows with great international psychobilly acts as Mad Sin, Demented Are Go, Os Catelepticos, and many more. The bands first official west coast tour left them with a hunger and drive for more touring. With an extensive list of bands under his belt, Geoff Kresge, currently a guitarist for the Hellcat records recording artists, The Horrorpops, whom at that time was the bassist for the nationally acclaimed psychobilly band, Tiger Army, and who played for written and produced music for well known amazing bands as AFI, The Daggers, and Blanks 77 took a serious interest in Graveyard Shifts sound, and requested to produce their record. The combination of GYSs amazingly dark sound, Kresges musical mastermind, and Paul Miner as the engineer was magic.

Band Members : Jesús Fargas, que además de gritar, toca la guitarra. . Chema Fargas, que utiliza una guitarra con tres cuerdas conectada a dos amplificadores, y canta. . Leonardo Manuel Fargas, que aporrea bombo, caja y plato, sin taburete. Canta algo.


Trío almeriense formado en 1998. En sus comienzos, se reducía a dos guitarras y un maniquí sosteniendo una caja de ritmos, que posteriremente dejó paso a un joven semibaterista.

Este trío recoge influencias del más básico Rock'N'Roll, desde los 50's hasta hoy, con especial predilección por los ritmos simples y machacones, y las estructuras clásicas. (tres acordes , un minuto). Este aspecto se refuerza en alguna composición, con la utilización de la caja de ritmos o el Casiotone como única base rítmica, unida a la ausencia de bajo.

Primer trabajo de este Power Trio Almeriense fuertemente influenciado por Cramps, Gories, Pussy Galore, Stooges y toneladas y toneladas de 50´s RNR. Dos guitarras y semibateria que suenan como si Johnny Burnette, Ron Asheton y Poison Ivy se lo hicieran juntos. Un disco repleto de ODIO, RABIA, SEXO, VIOLENCIA y dosis inimaginables de lo que todos echamos en falta... ROCK AND ROLL. Un vinilo que hará historia, y si no tiempo al tiempo. RNR sucio, endiabladamente sucio. Canciones muy veloces que me recuerdan un poco a lo que fueron King Trash Fandango, y otras más calmadas de ambientes crampianos. Dos guitarras y semibatería. ¿Para qué más? Lo cierto es que es sólo eso: RNR. La esencia del RNR. Peligroso. No se puede decir más. Si no lo compras, eres idiota.

Con un directo-directo de sonido cavernario, hacen mover los pies a todo aquel que les escucha y les ve, con versiones de Suicide. Heartbreakers...., intercaladas con rockanroles propios y llenos de actitud. Tiene el gran honor de haber sido "teloneros" de monstruos como Ulan Bator Trío, Pussycats o Vincent Von Reverb.

"Desde Tampere (Finlandia) llega esta banda que rezuma a Nekromantix por todos lados, desde la voz hasta los frenéticos ritmos de contrabajo, por momentos recuerdan a esos primeros Nekromantix mas frescos que lo que nos tienen acostumbrados ultimamente. El trabajo está compuesto por trece temas sin desperdicio. El disco abre con "Wedding" un temazo a medio tiempo con un gran trabajo en la linea del contrabajo y los coros, la voz recuerda mucho a Kim Nekroman, le sigue "Darkling" otro medio tiempo nekromantizado, "Zombie Bob" ya nos muestra que a parte de los temas mas lentos, pueden darle potencia y volverse locos con la misma facilidad que relentizan los ritmos. "Full moon blues" es un tema perfecto para corear, se te queda permanente en la oreja y es dificil separarse de el, "About a girl" es un tema corto directo y conciso, "Flavour of the week" es un tema que perfectamente podian haber firmado Mad Sin, "Monster" vuelta al sonido Nekromantix, "Dead girl" es un buen tema para terminar el disco, un tema a medio camino entre la velocidad y la sobriedad. En fin un gran disco para fans de los sonidos mas duros. para escuchar algun tema y comprar el disco "

Luna Vegas formed after Nick Plant (bass) and Daz Night (guitar) got together at the end of 2004. They started reminiscing about old times when they used to play in a band called Stench, a psychobilly band from the late 1980's and early 1990's. Nick and Daz decided that they would start jamming again, so Daz went out and bought himself a new guitar and Nick bought himself a new double bass. They started jamming in Daz's lounge just for the enjoyment of playing music again, but they then decided to take it further and start a band. Phone calls were made to Rob Kinson (guitar) and Jim Goodman (drums), who were former members of The Mutant Zombies, a band that Nick and Daz had also played in back in 1986. Rob was still playing the guitar and was up for getting together again. Jim had hung up his sticks a long time ago but decided he was up for it, so he invested in a drum kit off Ebay and Luna Vegas were formed. In 2007 the decision was made to remain a three piece band. Some songs were dropped and in January Luna Vegas booked into The Western Star Recording Studio to record two tracks, Hellkat and Freddie Depthcharge. Hellkat was later released on a compilation album Psycho Killers. Impressed by the recordings and help from Alan Wilson, Luna Vegas new this would be the best place to record their first album. More recording sessions followed through the year. Luna Vegas then struck an album deal with Western Star Records. At the end of October 2007, Jim (Drums) departed from the band, but this void was soon filled by Chris Ives, the last drummer in Stench before it imploded in 1989. In November 2007, Psychobilly and Rockabilly Mayhem was released, a promo video of Western Star, featuring Luna Vegas.
